alphabetical advice

advice comes in many different ways and from many different people. An alphabetical list is an easy way to give advice and is also an easy way to read as well.

The list above has been made to help you out with your life and hopefully make you a better person. If you read over this this you will find out that listening to the advice of others can go along way and will make you feel better. Some of the best advice i gave out on this list would be to "love your family and friends", "tell no lies", and "respect others". I chose to use that advice because people are everywhere and they decide alot of what happens in your life. so it helps to put others first.

Public Display of Disaffecton

1) What are three main points in this article? Support each point with a properly integrated quote

In "public display of disaffection' by Anne Kingston many reasons are explained to us why cell phones are a negative thing. three that stand out to me are "its and addiction". we are getting more and more focused on our phones that we dont realize we are "losing our one-on-one people skills and ability to engage in uninterupted, focused conversation."  also people are losing emotion while with eachother. While on dates 1/3 of zoosk users spoke out about leaving the date because of their date was on his or her phone the whole time. "[it has] turned formerly nice, sensative, and creative types into assholes." lastly, people need to know their boundries when around other people in public places. poeple while talking on their phones tend to not fucus and get themselves into trouble whether it may be in a vehicle, in a restaurant. its destracting and "people are fed up."

2) I personally do not agree with the article written by Anne Kingston because we are coming to a point where soon enough everything in our lives will involve technology and will become our new lifestyle. we need to keep using technology and adapt to the future. without technology we wouldnt be where we are today. 

3) Places where i think cell phones should be acceptable are classrooms, work, and in the open. cell phones now are getting more and more technologically sound and are very useful in times where you dont have a computer or office space. i dont think cell phones are acceptable in funerals, movie theatres, and dinner with family. its rude and annoying. i dont think they should put bans on cellphones because everyone would still try and go against it. people need to think if they wanted it done to them or not and have respect.

teleportation

If I could have any superpower in the world it would have to be the power of teleportation. I chose the power if teleportation over all others because I can teleport to any place I wanted in the world. Important places, random places, or even to get out of situations. I would be the richest man in the world because would teleport into banks across the world and take the money without anyone even knowing it was me. Further more, I would teleport into the back stage of all Victoria’s secret fashion shows and the playboy mansion to see the hottest girls in the world and get laid. More perks to this superpower are playing pranks on anyone I wanted, not paying for another hockey game or baseball game in my life, and take vacations at anytime. Also I would not have to listen to my parents yell at me anymore due to the fact that I could teleport at anytime! Teleportation is the best power out there because anyone that possesses the power can achieve greatness at the highest level. All other powers do not even come close to the potential of this power and with my knowledge and imagination, its the best power for me.

My Dilemma

As our life goes on and proceeds to present us with oppertunities and ocasions, there always seems to be a dilemma tied in. On this particular day, my dad and i were going to the biggest Canucks game of the post season. Game seven of the Stanley Cup final. We had our tickets purchased, our bags packed, and our heads held high. Hoping, like every Canucks fan. That maybe, just maybe this would be the year. The year that we pulled it off and won the Stanley Cup. There was just one dilemma. The big bad Boston Bruins. Standing in the way of the Canucks and taking every hope and dream away from every die hard Canucks fan out there and not only that but taking away the thought of having the Stanley Cup in our posession. The Bruins take it in game seven. as a die hard fan, like many others, my heart drops knowing all the blood, sweat, and tears my beloved team shed would amount to nothing. One little dilemma. They were the better team.
